O-2 Emergency Landing

This 23rd TASS O-2 obviously couldn’t get a safe nose gear. The aircrews depended on the support troops to foam the runway and be there if things didn’t go as well as this one apparently did. And, I’m sure the maintenance troops of the 23rd had the bird fixed and flying again within the week. (Picture provided by Colonel Pallister)
