23rd TASS Cricket

In 1967 (and probably earlier and later) all aircraft of the 23rd TASS were marked with the cricket. (I always thought it looked like a black grasshopper, but who cared.) The night birds got a red cricket on the dull black paint. Whenever I learn someone now flies an O-1 or O-2 with a 23rd TASS heritage, I send them a copy and ask that they mark their bird appropriately.
